i didnt regret watching this one bit... i watched the trailer when it was shown in the theatres... and i loved it! and when a friend ask me along to the movies to catch this... tak der hegeh hegeh!! count me in!
we entered the movies a bit late.. pasal nak layankan perut masing masing yang terlalu lapar nak mampus... after effect of entering a dark theatre where the movie is already showing: they stepped on some people's foot... i landed on someone else's shoulders (fuuuuuhhh... sungguh malu.com) and we missed the first part quite a bit...
but nevertheless... i still do get the whole story actually... A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere.... He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between "Jumpers" and those who have sworn to kill them.
and halfway through the show... i wished i was a jumper... i get to see the world... best siol!!! minus the killings and the war of coz... AKU NAK JADI JUMPER!!! PLEASSSSEEE!!
when it comes to stephen chow... there's only one thing to look for... and dats laughter.... this time round... no kung fu... no fights... no major dramatic effects of explosion or wat not... just true blue home fun comedy... i truely enjoyed this show... this is not the merepek kind of comedy... this is truely comedy....
Chow plays a loser with a heart of gold, a labourer who lives in a dilapidated house with his young son Dicky.... Ti only wants the best for his son, who is constantly ridiculed by his schoolmates and teachers for being poor..... One night, during one of his nightly scavenging at a garbage dump, Ti finds a strange object left behind by an alien spacecraft., which turns out to be some kind of an alien dog..... Dicky dubs it CJ7 because he sees it as a replacement “toy” for the one his father couldn’t afford to buy him, a state-of-the-art robot dog called CJ1.
Dicky takes CJ7 to school in the hope that it would be able to help him get out of various troubles, because the alien dog seems to have otherworldly powers. Or does it really?
apart from humour... this movie was also able to capture the soft side of everyone's heart... i swear to god i heard some sniffing away thereafter... confirmed plus guarantee these people shed a tear whilst watching that part of the scene...
with some time to waste... and absolutely nothing much to do... our brains ran out of things to uncover and explore... we decided to head down to the theatres instead... and yes i heard this movie is merapek nak mampus... but yet again i know... different individuals have different likings.. wats there not to like anyway... explosions... gunshots... and seeing new york going down in a rather different way.... i actually ended up not hating this movie much....
starting with a going away party for a friend who is leaving for Japan (he should have left a day earlier)... new york went down when a monster (and i still dont know what the hell dat creature is) about the size of a skyscraper decided to hit... it was HUGE!!!! the movie captured their journey towards survival (if they could).. or at least it captured their LAST horrifying event in their entire life... all caught on a handycam....
and i really mean handycam... this movie is like blair witch.... unsteady... moving... unedited... this is all of it... if you are hoping for a clean, steady movie... u better not set foot into the theatres for this movie... but i got to give credit thou to the man behind the camera... for being able to capture the rush even thou his life is in danger... i actually dont mind watching the shaky images... it seemed like it was a real-life footage... but at certain times... it gets a little bit too dizzy... and i start to wonder... who suffers more... the characters in the movie... or me?
at the end of it... i dont think i wasted my cents to catch this wild ride... even thou the ending seemed a bit abrupt... to each individuals - his own.....
i was contemplating between catching this and body #19... both are thai horror movies and thailand are known to make very good horror movies... so whichever choice i make, i dont think it would really make any difference...
the only reason why i chose this was because it said it was a true story... this story is about three horrible murders that happened to three women in different times..... The film tells a story of Chalinee, a reporter who intensively finds the truth of the past cruel murders..... Finally, it leads her to a house where the crimes started.....
she was warned never to enter... degil jugak... dia pung enter... selamat ah kau chalinee!!!
indeed this story gave me the chills... just some of the parts... and in case u all still dont know.. aku memekak bila tgk citer hantu... rasakan sesiapa yang duduk sebelah aku... "bodoh peh pompuan!!!", "chibai!!", "lincah lah lari!!!", "keluar!! keluar!!"... are just the norms that would come out from my mouth... if im noisy.. dats means i find the movie scary...
and indeed... i am a bit noisy... so kirakan.. seram dia tak lah sangat kan...
and yeah... ending part mengeramkan... hantu dia tak masuk akal... fed up siak aku!

the last movie that was on the list of what i wanna watch for this month....
i had bad reviews for this... everyone is telling me dat catching dis is a waste of time... real bad reviews... and i was almost half hearted to go on catching the show... but i decided to give will smith a chance... in the end, i know myself everyone has their own individual liking... what people might not like.. could be something i might find interesting...
indeed dis is... interesting! i actually ended up liking this show... not so much of the ending thou... but everything else made my eyes glued to the screen...

national treasure has always been interesting to me... and the sequel this time round.. did not dissapoint me at all!

the other participants were equally good or perhaps better... and its a real wonder how he managed to outshine them all...
he has done us proud!

story was a bit slow during the beginning... before they get into the main focus of the story... a story with a difference... well at least this is the first story dat i know dat talks about tattoo in the first place...
leaving the cinema after the show only reminds me of one thing thou... the all blacks! apart from their ethnic... the all blacks has nothing to do with the show at all...
we didnt know what show to catch... neither do we have any in mind... i settled for this... thou not really sure what the show is all about... sides, jamie foxx is acting... how bad can the show be??
and truely enuf... i never regret watching this...

but i left the cinema... with only one disturbing question in my mind... "why must the good guys die???" ... i shall not name who... coz thats for u to find out in the movie...
five stars for those who likes politics and actions in a movie...
the moment the movie started... i almost dozed myself into sleep... but i fought the sleepy feeling just to see what this movie was all about...

i wouldnt give out too much about the show... the ending is quite predictable thou... i left the cinemas feeling ok ok jek lah.... korang tunngu dvd jek sua... the oni thing that left an impact from the movie is just this song...

well heres a summary of the movie after i watched it... dis is about an FBI agent, Crawford, who became obsessed with seeking revenge over his partner's death, Tom Wyne. When he finally found the assassin, Rogue, he decided to bring him down. Its when they comes face to face, the hidden truth of their pasts were revealed....
slow story line... BUT thrilling fighting scenes... and an unexpected twist at the end... i give it a four....
by the end of the movie... this song becomes very creepy to me!! real creepy!!
this is about a famous writer, Mike Enslin, who writes about paranormal activities... about haunted places and such... but he has no real proof on life afterlife... he went into a search for these proof....
his lonely nights made a change when he uncovered the story of room 1408 in dolphin hotel... a room well known for the mysterious death of its guest ever since they were in operation... in all 57 deaths....
even though being warned by the management of the hotel from taking that room... mike still insist....
could he last that hour of staying in the room after the management mentioned that NO ONE lasts longer than that??
the answer to that.. u got to watch the show....
and if u dont get the ending.. its alright... its Stephen King... and his books always ended up as such...
this is way better than dead silence... u wont regret spending on this...
a story about a ventriloquist... highly recommended by a friend.. but i wouldnt do so to all those who would be reading this...
it is still a good movie to catch.. but i wouldnt give it my tops...
one thing i like about the movie on how deafening silent the movie went at certain parts of the story... and u keep anticipating what would come out next...
